Investment Management Fees

We charge a management fee based on a percentage of the value of the assets we manage. We accept no commissions or other forms of compensation from investment product providers or financial institutions.

Accounts that are related to each other can be aggregated and billed as a whole, thus reducing the average fee for each account individually. This applies to multiple accounts of the same owner(s) as well as to accounts of direct relatives of the owner(s), such as parents, children, and siblings.

Discretionary Assets under Management

0.75% on assets under $3 million

0.60% for assets from $3-$5 million

0.50% for assets from $5-$10 million

0.40% for assets from $10-$15 million

0.30% for assets from $15-$20 million

0.25% for assets from $20-$25 million

Fees are negotiable for assets above $25 million.

The fees above may be negotiable if there are special portfolio considerations, such as agreements not to trade or constraints on trading applied to parts of the portfolio.

The fee is quoted as an annual percentage fee, and is billed quarterly in advance by taking the value of managed assets at the end of each calendar quarter and applying one-fourth of that annual percentage fee. For example, if the annual fee is 0.75%, then 1/4 of 0.75% is applied to each ending quarter account balance. The fee is normally deducted directly from the client account or accounts. In the event an account is terminated, unearned fees will be refunded pro-rata based on the date of termination.

Personal Financial Planning and Counseling

We charge at the hourly rate of $250 for invest-ment or financial planning consultation for clients who do not have assets under management currently, but intend that we would be their investment management firm. One example of this service that we have done is the preparation of implementation of 10b5-1 plans for corporate executives and their stock options planning.

We do not accept any finder's fees, commissions or any fees than those stated on this page.
